This is the Mindsinger signing on with her first blog. Ever. Right now it's late, I've just finished signing up with WordPress and I will write more tomorrow. Glad to be a part of the WordPress family.Guess what? Tomorrow turned out to be Feb. 17. I have been busy downloading the DeskTopAuthor program in which to publish eBooks. It's time to get the little dears out into the big wide world of readers and traditional publishers and PODs don't get the job done.
As soon as I've conquered the process, the first book off the press will be BooK One of the WINDFALLOW CHRONICLES: The Great Bell. The books, five so far, were found in the tower of the Great Bell of Peace on Earth's sister world, WINDFALLOW. There, man never sinned, angels are visible and the common building materials are gem stone. A demon has discovered the peaceful planet and seeks to seduce it.
Zachary Thomas, a teen from Indiana, "accidentally" and literally falls into Windfallow and becomes an accidental hero; helping the fallowfolk understand and repel the thugs brought in by the demon, Jackal.
Book II: Of Rocks and Gold continues the battle, and Book III: The Deceiver, finds the Jackal trying yet another tactic. In Book IV: Carnivore, a snow leopard is brought to the planet to see if corrupting the animals might somehow lead to the corruption of the inhabitants. Book V: A Curious Light, is set in the future when a space ship discovers a planet drifting through space enveloped in a curious glow.
These books will be presented one at a time over the next few weeks or months. The first three were originally published under the title: Angel World Trilogy. But they have since been rewritten and enhanced.
Later on, I'll be publishing The Other Side of Christmas, about a young mother whose son is killed in Herod's Slaughter of the Innocents, formerly published under the title, RACHEL'S DAUGHTERS. There will also be poetry chapbooks, TAPESTRY, HEART SONG and A FAR GREEN COUNTRY.
Guess I've set myself quite a task. Stay tuned for later developments! You'll be able to track the appearance of the books online as well.
Have a great day.
